Eligibility Criteria
- Students from High School, Higher Secondary, Undergraduate and Diploma from professional non-professional institutions.
- Judging Criteria: Accuracy
Rules
- The students participating must be from the same institute.
- Participants must have knowledge of the C language.
- There will be two rounds 1st of 45 min and 2nd of 35 min respectively.There will be 30 min of short break for the judging of the first round in which round 1 is for the blind coding and round 2 for the decoding.
- In 1st round - the 1st member of the team will be given a problem statement and will have to write the code with their monitor turned off. They will be judged based on the accuracy of the code.
- After the judgment of the 1st round top performing teams will be shortlisted for the 2nd round.
- In the 2nd round β the 2nd team member will be given a piece of code and the code will have to be debugged within the time limit. If the member finishes the debugging earlier than the time limit, then he will be given a chance to choose whether he would like to debug his partner's code if the code has any error and if he even finishes this task within the same time limit then the team would be rewarded with bonus points.
- In case a tie arises between teams a tie breaker round will be conducted to select the winner.
- Note: The idle team members can choose to participate in on the spot activities in both rounds which will earn their team advantages.
- MARKING SYSTEM:
- For Round 1: At the start of blind coding round,all the participants will be given 50 points and for every error 1 point will be deducted.At the end after adding the total points,top 6 teams will be qualified for round 2.
- For Round 2:At the start of the decoding round,the participants will start with 0 points and gain 1 point on each error solved,which will further add up to decide the winning team.
- Note that the first round marks will not be added up for round 2.
- Total time 45min + 35min + 30 min = 1hour 50min.
- Other details will be explained on the whatsapp group one day prior to the event as well as it will be again explained thoroughly on the day of the event
